Background
Future for All Foundation (FFAF), incorporated in November 2007 as a not-for-profit organisation with registration number G.22482, embodies a mission to improving the lives of under privileged and street children living in the Ablekuma North District with the talent to be professional footballers. We achieve this by providing support for their formal education and football coaching
FFAF is governed by an 8 member board known as the Directors composed of dedicated individual volunteers of diverse professional backgrounds to ensure diversity and professionalism in its operations. The organisation actively and effectively engages the service of the board in providing policy direction and financial management oversight responsibility to the general operations of the secretariat and programs implementation.
The Talent Stars project is a project being undertaken by FFAF on pilot basis. It has four main groupings (Under 12, Under 14, Under 17 and Under 19). Most of the teenagers in the four sets of groupings live in and around Kwashiman, Awoshie, Mallam, and Odorkor.
These communities abound with street children and talented youth footballers living in near poverty. If help is not extended to them they might lose focus and not achieve their goals for not only themselves and their family but is likely to impact negatively on the communities.
Most of these teenagers have to battle with attending school (lack of uniforms, books, fees) and feeding themselves since their parents cannot fully give them the needed support. These teenagers therefore see football as an easy way out but at times to the detriment of their education.
